General Trends in the Development of Housing Construction Market in the Irkutsk Region

The housing construction industry plays an important role in the social and economic development of the State, and also has a large multiplier effect on other sectors of the economy. Today, the development of the industry is an important strategic goal of the State, and one of the principles of the state housing policy is the uniform development of the industry in all regions of the country. The article presents an analysis of the current state of the housing construction sphere of the Irkutsk region. The indicators characterizing the commissioning of residential buildings and the structure of new housing are considered. General problems of the housing construction sphere, as well as possible directions for their solution at the federal and regional levels are identified. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively analyze the current state of the real estate market in the Irkutsk region. The methodology of the study is based on the theoretical analysis of scientific publications aimed at analyzing the development of the housing sector in the regions. The information and empirical base of the study were scientific articles, publications in professional journals, industry websites, statistical databases. The object of the study is the multi-apartment construction market of the Irkutsk region. Scientific novelty lies in the formation of the author's predictive conclusions on the development of the housing construction industry under the current trends.
