Intervenções promotoras de perceção de autoeficácia nos familiares cuidadores: protocolo de scoping review

Population aging and the increase in comorbidities have led to a growing number of individuals dependent on self-care. Family caregivers (FaCui) emerge as crucial support in assisting with daily activities. The successful transition to the caregiver role is significantly influenced by their perception of self-efficacy (PAE). Nurses, as facilitators of this transitional process, play a fundamental role in enhancing self-efficacy, as higher levels of self-efficacy are predictors of more favorable health response patterns. This scoping review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and aims to map intervention programs that promote higher PAE in FaCui, considering different contexts, health conditions, and evaluation tools currently in use. Using the PCC model (Population-Concept-Context) and predefined search equations, 7,081 articles were identified through searches in scientific databases (via PubMed and EBSCOhost). Data extraction and result synthesis will be performed using a table designed to align with the study’s objectives and research questions. This study aims to identify potential gaps in the literature that justify the need to develop new programs aimed at improving PAE in FaCui.
