RISK-BASED APPROACH IN STANDARDIZING PPE ISSUANCE
The article explores the development of local standards for the issuance of personal protective equip-ment (PPE) in accordance with the Unified Typified Norms (ETN-2021). It analyzes the transition from industry-specific standards to a risk-based model, which involves a three-stage process: forming a basic PPE kit based on job position, adjusting the list according to workplace risk assessments (SOUT) and occupational risk evaluations (OPR), and specialized selection of protective equipment for specific con-ditions. The study emphasizes eliminating redundancy in PPE provision, documenting risk reduction measures, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Practical recommendations for developing local regulatory acts and implementation examples are provided
