Relaciones Internacionales hacia un Marco de Relaciones Interespaciales: Análisis Teórico
This article explores the theoretical foundations of International Relations (IR) and proposes a projection toward a new conceptual field: Interspatial Relations (ISR). In the face of increasing space exploration and the distant but possible contact with extraterrestrial life forms or civilizations, the concern arises to imagine a normative and political framework that allows for the regulation of interactions between actors—nations and/or individuals—beyond planet Earth. This framework also includes non-state actors for development and cooperation in interspatial dynamics, allowing for their integration into cosmic space as well as the recognition of their decentralized, functionally autonomous international action. This concept, proposed through comparative analysis and critical reflection, suggests that the founding principles of IR can serve as a basis for the development of ISR.
