TRANSPORT PLANNING AND DEMAND ANALYSIS: MODELS AND ALGORITHMS

This paper describes models of transport planning and demand analysis and the algorithms they use. Trip allocation models and algorithms, trip assignment, alternatives evaluation, offer a general meth-odology that includes a classic four-stage model. It is noted that a high-quality model based on a data set will generate an assessment that allows making reasonable conclusions about the planning scenarios of the transport network performance
