Design and Application of a Novel Online Jumping Connection Device for Secondary Circuits in Substations
The wiring design of relay protection panels in power systems is a crucial component in ensuring the safety and stability of electrical system operation. Due to structural limitations, conventional terminal block wiring methods are inadequate for meeting complex and dynamic wiring requirements, often leading to cumbersome operations and the risk of poor contact. This paper introduces a novel multi-port terminal block device, designed to replace traditional Phillips cables for online switching, which supports multi-wire connectivity. The device utilizes a dual-fastening mechanism combining clips and screws, enabling efficient parallel jumper connections and enhancing both wiring stability and operational efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate that the new device significantly improves wiring reliability while streamlining the wiring process, showcasing its broad application prospects in the field of power system protection and substation secondary systems.
