Research on Electrolytic Copper Rectifier Based on WOA Optimization Fuzzy PID Controller
Based on the front-end three-phase Voltage type PWM Rectifier (Voltage Source Rectifier, VSR) and the back-end phase-shifted full-bridge DC/DC converter (Zero Voltage Switch, ZVS) cascaded two-stage converter is widely used in electrolytic copper high-power rectifier system. Addressing the limitations of sluggish response speed and inadequate anti-interference capability in the DC bus voltage regulation of conventional fuzzy PI dual closed-loop control for front-end three-phase VSRs, this paper proposes an enhanced control strategy. The approach leverages the whale optimization algorithm to refine fuzzy PI control, specifically targeting the voltage outer loop of the threephase VSR to improve dynamic performance. Through simulation studies, it was found that the whale algorithm's online optimization of fuzzy parameters effectively strengthens the system's dynamic characteristics and ability to withstand disturbances.
