Measurement and Analysis of Narrowband Interference Occurrence Probability in Automotive CS Radars
Inter-radar interference caused by dense deployment of automotive chirp sequence (CS) radar can be a serious problem in near future. False detection of the targets caused by narrowband interference can occur when many CS radars using the same signal format operates at the same time and location. It has been considered that narrowband interference rarely occurs, and narrowband interference occurrence probability of CS radar has not been examined so far. This paper analyzes narrowband interference occurrence probability of CS radar and shows measurement results of narrowband interference using commercial CS radars to reveal how narrowband interference occurs in CS radar.
