Research on Energy Harvesting and Posture Adjustment Damper System
This study introduces an Energy Harvesting and Posture Adjustment Damper System (EPADS) to solve the low energy utilisation efficiency and insufficient dynamic response of traditional vehicle suspension systems. The system's performance was examined through theoretical modelling, simulation analysis, and experimental validation. Experimental results under typical urban driving conditions demonstrate an energy recovery efficiency of 75%, damping performance attenuation limited to 5%, and a 30% enhancement in body roll suppression capability. The findings indicate that EPADS significantly enhances vehicle comfort and handling stability while achieving efficient energy recovery, offering an energy-saving suspension solution with notable economic and environmental benefits.
