Transmit-Receive Beamforming for Multi-User and Multi-Target Integrated Sensing and Communication
In this paper, we study a multi-user terminal (UT) and multi-target integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system by jointly considering transmit-receive beamforming. Then, we formulate a sum signal-to-clutter plus interference and noise ratio (SCINR) maximization problem for ISAC-enabled UTs under the constraints of UT transmit power budget and minimum communication rate requirement. Moreover, the generalized Rayleigh quotient is used to obtain the receive beamforming vector and fractional programming is used to tackle the system objective of radar sum SCINR. Then, we use quadratic transform based Lagrangian dual transform to deal with the minimum rate constraint. Finally, we propose an iterative optimization algorithm to solve the problem. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
