Flexible Pulse Waveform Sensor Array for Cuffless PWV Measurement
Wearable devices are increasingly used for non-invasive pulse wave velocity (PWV) monitoring, with pressure sensors being the primary tools for tracking pulses. However, most existing pressure sensors require preloading through cuffs or tapes, thereby introducing variability due to tightness differences across users. Here we present a self-powered, cuffless device for PWV monitoring that overcomes these limitations by eliminating preloading requirements, thereby offering a more reliable and user-friendly solution for continuous PWV measurement.
