ZENIT RADIATION BROADCASTING MODULE

Increased interest in information services for neighboring countries with the use of ionospheric radio channels is associated with the promising possibility of creating passive radar systems using HF radio broadcasting signals. However, the static nature and bulkiness of the structures, combined with the regular operational maintenance required for it, began to restrain the opportunities for high-frequency radio broadcasting that have become relevant. The HF radio broadcasting module has a container structure that houses a zenith radiation antenna in the form of a comb horn, a transmitter and all auxiliary equipment. It is permissible to place the module both on the ground surface and as a protected construction partially or completely below ground level. By changing the antenna position relative to the vertical axis, it is possible to control the directivity characteristic within small limits. The module design allows to significantly reduce the time necessary for the equipment commissioning to the time of its mounting and connection to the power supply system.
