INTERNET OF THINGS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION

The article discusses the possibilities of using Internet of Things technology in educational activities. The main aspects of using this technology are analyzed in order to increase the educational process effectiveness, improve the availability of educational and educational resources, materials, as well as increase people’s involvement in the studying process. An overview of existing Internet of Things-based solutions has been performed, and their features and differences have been identified in comparison with a similar concept of machine-to-machine interaction. The prospects and problems of introducing Internet of Things technology into the educational field in comparison with analogues are substantiated. The architecture of this technology is described in detail, as well as its main components that ensure the functioning of the system. Ideas that can contribute to the development of educational formats and teaching methods using the capabilities of the Internet of Things have been put forward.
