THE ACTUAL CONDITION ELUCIDATION OF MICROBIOME IN A COOL OR HEAT PIT (PART 3) : LONG-TERM CHANGES IN BACTERIAL FLORA IN A PIT
Bacterial flora samples were collected from cooling/heating pits over four summers to study temporal changes. The results showed that six phyla consistently ranked among the top ten, with Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria together accounting for over 50% of each sample. The genus Nesterenkonia, which is rarely found in typical environments, was detected at a high frequency. In terms of diversity, the richness of the bacterial flora decreased over time, while the number of related bacterial species increased. Over time, a unique bacterial flora tended to develop downstream within the pit.
