Extremely weak feedback signal for controlling chaotic synchronization maintaining asynchronous states in coupled oscillators
Chaos synchronization is essential in biomedical engineering and embedded systems, where achieving control with minimal perturbations poses challenges. The double-Gaussian-filtered reducing region of orbit (DG-RRO) method addresses this need, as it enables chaos-chaos intermittency (CCI) synchronization with minimal perturbation. While previous studies have demonstrated CCI synchronization via the DG-RRO method primarily against external signals, this study extends its application to various scales of coupled oscillator systems. The DG-RRO method achieves heightened sensitivity and induces CCI synchronization with significantly weaker perturbations than conventional methods, highlighting its potential for applications requiring low interference and power consumption.
