In November 2024, a reader raised concerns about duplication of images in Figure 2e and also raised concerns about potentially duplicated bands in the Western blots in Figures 3a and5d.Details of the concerns were also published on PubPeer: https://pubpeer.com/publications/3266CF9A1C3948D44C4FEE05FC1A64Within Figure 2e, the 1242 Apigen 80m MERGE panel is similar to the 1242 Apigen 40m MERGE panel after flipping vertically.In addition, there appears to be overlap between the first 5 blots in Figures 3a and5d.
