Facilitators and barriers to the adherence of physiotherapy clinic attendance and home programme by caregivers of children with cerebral palsy in Blantyre, Malawi
We have identified several strategies to improve physiotherapy support for caregivers of children with cerebral palsy in Blantyre, Malawi. Therapists should establish rapport and motivate caregivers, and the government should expand the rehabilitation workforce and implement community advocacy programmes that reduce stigma.
