Analysis of Research Trends in Museum Digital Exhibitions Based on Multimodal Sensory Theory : Based on the analysis of CiteSpace Literature Metrolog

This study aims to analyze research trends in museum digital exhibition design, focusing on the application of multimodal sensory theory. Using the bibliometric tool CiteSpace, this paper conducted keyword frequency analysis, co-authorship networks, and centrality mapping of related literature. The results show that multimodal sensory elements have emerged as core components of user experience and interactive design in digital exhibitions. In particular, the convergence with technologies such as artificial intelligence and immersive systems is accelerating the implementation of real-time sensory-responsive exhibitions. Furthermore, by analyzing collaborative structures, keyword evolution by year, and high-frequency/high-centrality terms, the study identifies major research directions and potential future developments. This research offers both a theoretical foundation and practical insights for advancing strategies in museum digital exhibition design.
