A Study on the Design of Blockchain Settlement, Reward Systems : Focusing on a Referral Model for Local Commerce

This study proposes a blockchain-based reward system for local commerce, focusing on referral activities as an alternative to business models dependent on social media exposure and advertisement rankings. The system integrates smart contracts, KNIPP tokens, and badge tracking to automate reward distribution and merchant settlement, recording referral history on-chain. It enhances accessibility by offering real-time point management, a visualized referral flow, and an intuitive dashboard that supports customer referrals. Unlike conventional platforms, this model aims to establish a self-sustaining customer acquisition ecosystem.

Abstract

This study proposes a blockchain-based reward system for local commerce, focusing on referral activities as an alternative to business models dependent on social media exposure and advertisement rankings. The system integrates smart contracts, KNIPP tokens, and badge tracking to automate reward distribution and merchant settlement, recording referral history on-chain. It enhances accessibility by offering real-time point management, a visualized referral flow, and an intuitive dashboard that supports customer referrals. Unlike conventional platforms, this model aims to establish a self-sustaining customer acquisition ecosystem.
