Research on the Visualization of Packaging Design Based on Augmented Reality Technology
This study explores the potential integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology with packaging design in an effort to enhance product appeal and competitiveness in an increasingly saturated market. AR technology, by incorporating elements such as the Internet of Things (IoT), sensor technologies, and digital interactivity, transforms the traditional form and function of packaging while proposing novel marketing strategies. Through literature review, case analysis, and survey research, this study examines the applicability of AR-based packaging design and analyzes the current status, development trends, opportunities, and challenges of AR technology. Furthermore, a comprehensive model is constructed by integrating factors such as sensory experiences, emotional and behavioral responses, and the user acceptance process with key elements of packaging design including positioning, target audience, and brand recognition. The validity of this model is tested using the SSQ (Suitability of Sensory Quality) scale. The findings confirm that AR technology elicits positive user responses and contributes to the enhancement of brand image and user experience. These results offer a theoretical foundation for proposing a new paradigm in packaging design.
