A Meta-Analysis of the Effectiveness of Mental Health Services for Left-Behind and Migrant Children

本研究基于心理健康双因素模型，运用元分析方法，以积极心理和消极心理为结果变量，考察中西方留守和流动儿童心理健康服务的效果差异，以及调节变量的影响。通过文献检索与筛选，最终纳入31篇文献，共55个有效研究变量，被试总数7589名。结果发现：中国心理健康服务与留守和流动儿童积极心理存在显著正相关，与消极心理存在显著负相关；西方心理健康服务与流动儿童积极心理存在显著正相关，与消极心理存在显著负相关。亚组分析结果表明，服务目的、服务途径、服务时间对心理健康服务效果存在调节作用。探究中西方儿童心理健康服务效果及其机制，有助于探索提升我国留守和流动儿童心理健康服务水平的独特路径。Based on the dual-factor model of mental health, this study utilized meta-analysis to examine the differences in the effectiveness of mental health services for left-behind and migrant children in China and the West, using positive and negative psychology as the outcome variables, as well as the effects of moderating variables. Through literature search and screening, 31 papers were finally included, with a total of 55 valid studies and 7589 subjects. The results showed that mental health services in China were significantly positively correlated with positive psychology of left-behind and migrant children, and significantly negatively correlated with negative psychology. Mental health services in West were significantly positively correlated with positive psychology of migrant children, and significantly negatively correlated with negative psychology. The results of subgroup analysis showed that purpose, approach and duration of mental service moderated the effect of mental health service. Future research should further explore the moderating variables between mental health services and the mental health of left-behind and migrant children, and explore the unique path to improve the mental health of left-behind and migrant children in China.
