Warszawskie druki muzyczne w spuściźnie śpiewaczki Haliny Mickiewiczówny (1923–2001). Cz. 2, Charakterystyka proweniencyjna kolekcji

The article contains the results of provenance research made on the book collection of musical varsaviana present in the legacy of singer Halina Mickiewiczówna (1923–2001). It constitutes the second part of the research on this collection – in the first part, the notes were characterized historically and bibliologically by introducing most of all a century of Warsaw publishers, and musicologically by discussing the musical repertoire and its importance for both the book people of the time and the artists who later used these musicals. This article points out the wealth of provenance entries providing interesting information on Polish musical life in the 20th century. It was also pointed out that the collection was not created by accident. Mickiewiczówna, who ran her household in an orderly and logical manner, assigned a signature to most of the prints, grouping musical works according to various categories. The research confirmed that the Warsaw prints were very important to performers and others actively participating in cultural life.
