Research and application of integrated inrush current suppression 1/8 brick EMI filter module
The DC/DC switching power module in the DC power supply system will bring serious electromagnetic interference noise. In order to meet the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility regulations, EMI filters are often inserted in front of the module to suppress electromagnetic interference noise. However, the EMI filter will bring a large startup inrush current, as well as startup resonance. And the EMI filter does not have the anti-reverse connection function in the DC power supply system. Aiming at the defects of the traditional EMI filter mentioned above, an integrated EMI filter module with inrush current suppression is proposed, and a special control chip is developed. A novel power protection module is realized by integrating two power MOS wafers with SIP packaging process. The filter inductors in EMI filter are further flat-processed and the size is controlled to 1/8 brick.
