Analysis of the application of new steel tower in the mountainous area with high and steep slopes

This paper analyzes the application of a new type of transmission line tower in mountainous areas with high and steep slopes. Due to the setup of no lowest leg, it meets the requirements of high-level difference in the mountainous area, and the scheme is analyzed by software calculation and finite element modeling to demonstrate the feasibility of the tower type and to give suggestions for engineering application.
