Research on motor active discharge control in dual motor hybrid system

This paper introduces an innovative active discharge control methodology, meticulously crafted to ensure robust and reliable high-voltage safety. The system encompasses the intricate conditions for initiating L1-level active discharge mode, the sophisticated L1-level active discharge control strategy, and the stringent criteria for successful L1-level discharge. Should the L1 functional layer fail to execute the discharge process, the system seamlessly transitions to a redundant L2- level active discharge command, which is activated to safeguard operational integrity. At the L2 level, precision PWM modulation orchestrates the switching of IGBTs, effectively dissipating the stored energy within the capacitor. Through this layered and redundant approach, the system not only enhances high-voltage safety but also ensures unparalleled reliability and performance. Ultimately, the feasibility of the proposed control algorithm was rigorously validated through comprehensive in-vehicle testing.
