INVESTMENTS IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF THE SOUTHERN FEDERAL DISTRICT, THEIR REPRODUCTION

The purpose of the study is to assess the current state of investment policy in agricultural organizations of the Rostov region within the framework of the Agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District, to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of their formation and reproduction, to identify global problems, to develop and propose practical solutions to stabilize the current investment situation, in order to identify prospects for the development of agriculture in the region. The methodological basis of the research is represented by the basic provisions of the concept of sustainable development. The scientific methods used include comparative, cause-effect, and statistical analysis. The result of the work of agricultural enterprises is considered by economists and residents of the regions as the national wealth of the country. The importance of the agricultural sector determines the need to maintain it at a sufficiently high level in all possible ways, one of which is the competent organization of investment activities in the regions, which form the quality of investment policy in the agricultural sector of the country and the exchange of positive experiences between the regions. The author in the article paid attention to the analytical study of such important issues as: the current state of agricultural territories for the cultivation of crop production by enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District; analysis of the main problems of agricultural producers of the Southern Federal District; analysis of the level of the most promising regions in terms of investment attractiveness for investors; prospects for the organization of investment activities of crop production enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District. The study identified the specifics and essential characteristics of the reproduction of investment activity in the agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District, which in turn helped to substantiate the primary role of investment investments in the system of business processes of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex of the Southern Federal District and the high degree of dependence of the reproduction process on the profitability of enterprises.
