Dynamic analysis of the deployable support mechanism for a large spaceborne parabolic cylindrical antenna

Aiming at the innovation requirements of high spreading ratio, large aperture, light weight and high precision for the satellite antenna, a design proposal for a large deployable parabolic cylindrical antenna support mechanism with an aperture of 11m×52m is presented, and a three-dimensional model is constructed. Finite element simulation, combined with the Lanczos modal analysis theory, is utilized to conduct a modal analysis of the parabolic cylindrical deployable antenna support mechanism. The study analyzes the influence of the dimensions and material properties of the support struts on the structural natural frequencies. The research findings not only provide a scientific basis for enhancing the stiffness of the antenna support structure but also hold significant theoretical and practical value for the performance optimization and reliability assurance of antennas in the variable space environment.
