Drenaje sostenible para carreteras en el distrito Yonan, Cajamarca
The research aimed to propose a sustainable drainage system for the district of Yonan, in Cajamarca, due to the identification of an area vulnerable to erosion and flooding, which poses risks to both the road infrastructure and the environment. A comprehensive methodological approach was carried out, which included studies in topography, geology, hydrology, hydraulics, structural engineering, and environmental impact, all conducted in strict compliance with current regulations. These studies allowed for the development of an appropriate design that ensures road safety and infrastructure durability. The drainage system design followed the Hydrology Manual and current environmental regulations, implementing sustainable solutions such as permeable pavements and green trenches. These solutions optimize water management, preserve the natural environment, and ensure long-term road safety, contributing to the sustainable development of the Yonan district. A triangular ditch was designed using Calderem software, optimizing its profile for efficient drainage. Additionally, the dimensions of the energy dissipater were determined in AutoCAD, ensuring proper water flow distribution. These technical solutions ensure proper stormwater management, reduce the risk of flooding, and promote the sustainability of the drainage system. Keywords: Drainage, Flooding and Infrastructure
