Vaccination rate among young Dutch women with cervical carcinoma

A recent prepublication of a Dutch study offers new evidence for the effectiveness of HPV vaccines. It found that the vaccination rate among young women with cervical carcinoma is considerably lower than that among young women in the general population. Although the study is subject to some limitations, its source makes it well possible to generalise it to the general situation in the Netherlands.
