ABSTRACT Introduction: Green dentistry is an emerging approach that minimizes the environmental impact of dental practices while maintaining high standards of patient care. The study assesses knowledge, attitude, and adoption of green dentistry practices among dental practitioners in Jodhpur city. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted from August 14, 2023, to September 13, 2023, among 204 dental practitioners registered with the Rajasthan Dental Council, Jaipur. Data was collected using a pretested questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS 22.0. Results: Only 32% of participants were well-versed in green dentistry, with LED lighting (81%) and digital radiography (80%) being the most commonly used eco-friendly practices. Cost and lack of awareness were identified as major barriers to adoption. Conclusion: A significant gap exists in the knowledge and implementation of green dentistry practices among dental practitioners. Increased awareness and incentives from dental councils can encourage wider adoption of sustainable practices.
