Research on Chinas Green Bond Financing for NEV Enterprises

In recent years, the new energy vehicle industry has gradually become an industry of great strategic importance in the context of the country's ongoing promotion of a green economy. The growth and development of green bonds, a financial instrument that enables green development, has created a new way of thinking about financing for new energy vehicle companies, given the high demand for financing and the fierce market competition in this sector, due to its dual characteristics of both finance and environmental protection. Against this background, this thesis selects NEV Enterprises and conducts research and analysis on its green bond financing. Firstly, the concept and theory of green bonds are defined, and an overall overview of the financing situation of NEV enterprises in China is given. Secondly, the basic situation of the case is briefly described, and the current situation of its financing and the basic situation and financing process of green bonds are explained. Thirdly, the case of green bonds is analyzed in detail, focusing on the three aspects of financing credit risk, financing cost, and financing effect. In general, NEV has been effective in carrying out green bond financing, but it also faces some problems, such as the lack of obvious advantages in terms of financing costs and the lack of third-party certification of green bonds. Finally, this thesis summarizes the implications of NEV green bond financing for other green companies.
