Mumps is an infectious disease caused by the paramyxovirus virus, which can be prevented through vaccination and implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). Awareness campaigns regarding PHBS are the main strategy in preventing the spread of this disease. This article discusses the importance of the PHBS campaign in increasing public understanding about hygiene and health, as well as implementation strategies. The methods used include education and outreach, promotion of vaccination, implementation of clean living habits and a healthy lifestyle. Active community participation in implementing PHBS is very necessary to reduce the risk of the spread of mumps. With a combination of the right education and healthy living habits, mumps prevention can be done effectively.
