Penyuluhan Fisioterapi Mengenai Edukasi Pemberian Senam Pencegahan Osteoartritis dalam Mengantisipasi Nyeri Lutut pada Pasien Penderita Osteoartritis di RSUD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common degenerative joint disease, especially in the elderly, which causes pain, stiffness and limited movement in the joints. One important approach in managing OA is through physiotherapy, especially providing exercises to strengthen muscles and increase joint flexibility. Education regarding the provision of exercise as an effort to prevent and manage OA is very necessary to increase patient understanding of the importance of physical activity in reducing symptoms and improving quality of life. This research aims to provide education about the benefits of exercise for OA patients at RSUD Dr. Soemarno Sostroadmodjo Tanjung Selor, with a focus on exercises that can strengthen muscles and increase joint flexibility. Counseling is carried out in the form of group and individual sessions, which include explanations about the appropriate types of exercise, demonstrations, and exercise guides that can be done at home. The result is that patients are expected to be able to understand and apply exercise correctly, so that it can reduce OA symptoms, increase mobility, and slow the progression of the disease. It is hoped that this outreach will be an important step in efforts to improve the quality of life for OA patients in Tanjung Selor.
