O CORPO EM MOVIMENTO: O PAPEL DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL À LUZ DA BNCC E DA PSICOMOTRICIDADE
This article aims to critically reflect on the fundamental role of Physical Education in Early Childhood Education, emphasizing the importance of movement for the holistic development of children aged 4 to 6 years. Based on the Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC) and theoretical frameworks in psychomotricity, the study proposes a practical, sensitive, and intentional approach to exploring the pedagogical possibilities of the body in motion. The adopted methodology is qualitative, grounded in detailed analysis and reflective description of pedagogical practices developed throughout teaching experience in Early Childhood Education. The article describes various motor activities that promote coordination, balance, body expression, social interaction, and learning processes. Thus, it seeks to contribute to educators, administrators, and professionals by constructing pedagogical practices that value play, ludicity, and corporeality as central elements of the educational process, fostering children’s comprehensive development.
