The critical analysis of the data brings into light that physical fitness did not show the significant effect on skill ability of college level volleyball players. All the subjects were the students of Kalyani University under the different colleges. These students participate in various tournaments at the college level. Their ages ranged between 18-21 years. On the basis of the result, the hypothesis that there would be significant effect of physical fitness and skill ability of college level volleyball players has been rejected in case of skill ability. To find out the significant effect of physical fitness in relation to the skill ability Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation was applied. The level of significance chosen to test the hypothesis was 0.05. The overall analysis revealed that physical fitness has insignificant effect on skill ability of volleyball players.
