Analisis Manajemen Proyek Menggunakan Metode CPM dan PERT pada Proyek Instalasi Pipa di PT. XYZ

This study aims to analyze the application of project management in pipe installation activities at PT. XYZ using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach through field observation, literature study, project activity data collection, and analysis of the Activity on Node (AON) type network. The results of the study indicate that the critical path of the project includes activities A–B–D–F–H–I, with an estimated duration of 144 days using CPM and 142.4 days using PERT. The calculation of the normal probability distribution shows that the chance of the project being completed within 144 days reaches 72.24% when using PERT. The conclusion of this study is that the PERT method provides a more efficient time estimate and takes into account uncertainty, making it more suitable for use in planning and controlling complex pipe installation projects.
