Kenya is the largest economy among members of the East African Community and the third largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa. In recent years, the government has undertaken a number of initiatives to promote economic development. According to the Kenyan program «Vision 2030», by 2030 it is planned to transform the state into a new industrial country (NIC). The PRC is an important trade and economic partner of Kenya, countries jointly implement various projects, including in the field of infrastructure construction. The purpose of the article is to examine the key cooperation projects of countries in this segment, and to assess the extent and results of bilateral interaction in the field of infrastructure development. The construction and successful launch of the Mombasa — Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway launched an active cooperation between the parties in the construction of various transport routes, ports and dams, which in turn enabled the growing domestic and international transport needs, establishing logistics chains, training local staff and creating new jobs.
