IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF OBTAINING PSYLLIUM JUICE AND ITS EFFECT ON THE NUMBER OF LEUKOCYTES AND THE BIOCHEMICAL INDEX OF RAT BLOOD IN THE MOUSTACHE OF CHRONIC INFLAMMATION

Annotation. Currently, herbal medicines are used in medicine, which have a wide range of pharmacological effects with a minimum of side effects. Fermentation is one of the technological options for improvement. The aim of the study is to improve the technology of obtaining juice from psyllium leaves using fermentation as an intensifying technological factor and to study the effect of juice on changes in the concentration of TNF-α and leukocytes in the blood. The study was performed on 36 male rats, the animals were divided into 6 groups. The reference drugs were diclofenac at a dose of 6.8 mg/kg, and lornoxicam at a dose of 1.6 mg/kg. The test subjects were administered at a dose of 10 ml/kg (for 7 days). The comparison drugs and the studied objects were administered orally through an atraumatic gastric tube. Chronic inflammation was modeled by implanting felt discs under the skin of rats. Blood sampling from rats was carried out from the hyoid vein. The number of leukocytes was determined on a hematology analyzer. The TNF-α concentration was determined by the ELISA method. The comparison of the groups of averages was carried out by the method of univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) (with the Tukey or Kruskall-Wallis criterion, p<0.05). The use of fermentation of psyllium leaves helps to increase the yield of the main active substances in the production of juice. The high effectiveness of fermented juice has been confirmed by clinical tests: in conditions of chronic proliferative inflammation, there is a significant decrease in the concentration of leukocytes in the blood of the studied animals during therapy with fermented psyllium juice, with prolonged therapy the effect persists, the leukoform normalizes. In the blood serum of the studied animals, there is a significant decrease in TNF-α concentration, more pronounced than that of psyllium juice obtained according to the classical scheme.
