USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS IN THE CREATION OF INTERACTIVE ART

The object of this study is the use of digital tools in the processes of creating interactive art, which encompasses multimedia installations, digital graphics, video art, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), interactive performances, as well as web and mobile platforms as new channels of artistic communication. The relevance of the work is driven by the rapid development of digital technologies, which not only transform artistic practices but also establish new paradigms of interaction between the artist and the audience, shifting the focus from passive perception to active participation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the main digital technologies and methods applied in the creation of interactive art, including software for 3D modeling, visual programming environments (such as TouchDesigner, Max/ MSP), generative art, processing of input signals from motion, sound, and other sensors, and to explore their impact on the artistic process, the form of artistic expression, and the audience 's experience. To achieve this goal, the study employs methods of systems analysis, comparative research, case analysis of implemented art projects, and an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses both art criticism and technological perspectives. The research examines the integration of digital tools into professional artistic practice, new opportunities for collaboration in virtual environments, the role of digital laboratories and creative hubs, as well as the development prospects of interactive art in the context of digital culture, globalization, and the expansion of the creative technology industry. The study also analyzes key challenges associated with the use of digital technologies in art, including technical limitations, the need for interdisciplinary training, the complexity of archiving interactive content, copyright issues, ethical aspects of audience interaction, and the risks of commercialization of art.The potential for further development of interactive art based on innovative technologies and their role in shaping new artistic practices, visual narratives, and cultural codes of the digital era is also explored.
