Household wastewater can contain various groups of microorganisms, protozoa, and parasite eggs. One of the innovative directions in the field of wastewater treatment is the use of algolization — the introduction of algae into the reservoir. Experiments were conducted on wastewater treatment in Rostov-on-Don by algolization it in aquariums. Then the microbiological parameters of wastewater treated with an algae complex were determined. It was found that the addition of the algae complex disinfected wastewater.
