The current stage of technological development of global industry is characterized by a fundamental transformation of traditional production systems, caused by the rapid development of digital technologies and the need to solve new economic challenges. The emergence of intelligent industrial enterprises is a natural response to a set of factors that determine the competitiveness of industrial production in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. The article presents the rationale for the creation of modern intelligent industrial enterprises to optimize production processes. It is determined that in the context of globalization and fierce competition, industrial enterprises are forced to look for new ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality.
