Oversaturated Li-FeOF solid solutions developed using LiPON interfacial coating

In situ XAS confirm and quantify that the conversion reaction (phase separation) of FeOF upon lithiation is delayed by 0.3 V owing to a 30 nm LiPON interfacial coating to facilitate the formation of an oversaturated (supercooled) solid solution.
