De muertes merecidas a muertes que importan. Posibilidades de un documental en los procesos de territorialización de muertes violentas, en el contexto de la necropolítica.
This work examines the documentary Madres as a device that reflects the concept of necropolitics (Mbembe, 2006) as the context for the cases of police killings it portrays. Additionally, it analyzes the role of the documentary within the repertoire of memory and remembrance, drawing on the concept of the territorialization of violent deaths (Bermúdez, 2019). Finally, the article reflects on the documentary’s potential to restore the victims’ right to mourning within the framework of the precarization of certain lives (Butler, 2010).
