Lightweight Serverless Application Management Platform

In the tide of digital transformation, enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Cloud-native technologies represented by Docker and Kubernetes provide strong support for this transformation process, and with the gradual maturity of cloud computing technology, Serverless architecture has gradually become a popular choice for building modern applications due to its advantages such as pay-as-you go, elastic scalability and no need to manage servers. However, the complexity of the Serverless architecture requires developers to have the appropriate technical knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of scheduling policies, because they have a significant impact on the performance and cost efficiency of Serverless applications, which greatly hinders the transition of small and medium-sized enterprises to the Serverless architecture. In order to overcome these challenges, this paper designs and implements a lightweight Serverless application management platform, which aims to simplify the use of Serverless architecture and reduce the cost of creating and managing Serverless applications. At the same time, this paper puts forward a complete set of scheduling framework for Serverless applications, which supports a variety of scheduling policies flexibly through plug-in design to adapt to the needs of different application scenarios. Through system experiments, our platform allows users to easily and quickly create a Serverless application, while allowing users to adjust the most appropriate scheduling policies based on the real-time performance metrics and resource usage of the application.
