Design and Implementation of a Recipe Voice Playback System Based on Crawler Technology in WeChat Mini Program

With the booming development of smartphones and internet technology. In application, traditional text recipes have limitations in the cooking process. They are restricted by the screen and text, and lack real-time features. To enhance the user experience in recipes, this paper designs a recipe voice playback system using crawler technology. This system combines crawler technology and voice broadcasting technology to form a recipe software with voice function. The WeChat applets offer a platform for crawler technology utilization, which is used to extract recipe-related data from the Internet. By integrating voice synthesis technology, the steps of recipe preparation can be immediately reproduced audibly, thus improving cooking efficiency and quality. Compared with the comprehensive nature of recipe information, traditional text-based recipes are not practical during cooking because they lack flexibility and ease of use. Many people face difficulties when using recipes on their mobile devices while cooking. They need to turn pages manually, and grease stains on the device may prevent effective phone operation. To choose the most efficient crawling technique, single-threaded and multi-threaded crawling experiments were carried out. Finally, by comparing the total time of single-threaded and multi-threaded crawling experiments, it is found that the multi - threaded crawler can increase the crawling speed to 250% of the original speed of the single-threaded crawler.
