Real-Time Fire Evacuation System Integrated with Internet of Things and Mixed Reality Technology
In recent years, the process of urbanisation has accelerated, and many problems have arisen from the congregation of people in large public buildings, leading to difficulties in evacuating people and damage to property in the event of accidental fires. To overcome these problems, this paper proposes an intelligent real-time fire evacuation system for large public buildings. First, the idea of constructing a real-time fire evacuation system based on Mixed Reality (MR) technology and Internet of Things (IoT) technology is proposed. The system can not only simulate the actual evacuation situation, but also display the navigation information with the help of electronic devices, and the rapid response to fire and other emergencies can be achieved through IoT technology. Then the functions of the system are described in detail. The system can monitor and upload the abnormal situations of fire equipment, machine rooms, water and electricity, gas, etc. to the system. The system can monitor and upload the abnormal situation to the system, and deal with the abnormal situation level according to the pre-set scheme; the system also classifies the specific hidden danger situation of fire detection from four aspects of people, things, environment and management factors, and it can also locate the position of indoor personnel in real time through the ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, and combine the detector-detected fire situation with the simulation of fire, and the escape path is dynamically planned; Finally, taking the Xi'an Jianke Building office building as an example, the system releases the visualisation scene of the emergency commanders' viewpoint and the evacuees' viewpoint in the emergency situation. The real-time fire evacuation system shows its good compatibility and provides an innovative solution for fire safety management in modern buildings.
