The Analogous and Subsisting Person: An Exercise in Theological Anthropology

Abstract John Betzs Christ, the Logos of Creation presents the foundation of an analogical anthropology. Here I develop his ideas further in order to argue that the human person’s analogical imaging of the triune God extends to her participatory subsistence in her individual logos ‘located’ in the divine subsisting Logos . This analogical subsistence of the human person is missional, a participation in the missional subsistence that is the person of Christ sent by the Father.
