ENLIGHTENMENT AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES: PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION

Currently, there has been a dramatic increase in attention to enlightenment activities, which are considered, among other things, as a tool for solving important state tasks. Against this background, it is relevant to study the relationship between enlightenment and educational activities. These types of activities have a lot in common, but it is also necessary to take into account their differences, which are confirmed, among other things, within the framework of the legal regulation system that has been formed in Russia so far. The Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On Education in the Russian Federation" plays a significant role in the system of regulation of educational activities. Enlightenment and educational activities could be considered equivalent in different historical periods, depending on the goals of state policy at a particular stage. At the same time, both enlightenment and educational activities have common goals and forms of implementation in many ways. However, unlike educational activities, enlightenment activities are characterized by greater flexibility and involve a much lower degree of regulation. This makes it possible to use both enlightenment and educational activities in their reasonable combination to solve certain problems of public policy. Taking into account the above, the structure of the article includes three sections - “Enlightenment and educational activities: the dilemma of legal regulation", “Enlightenment and educational activities: historical aspect", “Characteristics of enlightenment and educational activities at the present stage: general and special", as well as “Introduction" and “Conclusion".
