Bankziska Ponorogo dan Qardhul Hasan: Model Pembiayaan untuk Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro
Qardhul Hasan is a loan given to those in need, with the requirement that the borrower repay only the principal amount. Meanwhile, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) can play an important role in strengthening a region’s economy. However, the availability of halal financing is still limited. To address this, Bankziska Ponorogo operates an empowerment program for micro-business actors through the Qardhul Hasan contract. The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of the Qardhul Hasan contract for micro-business empowerment at Bankziska Ponorogo, identify its supporting and inhibiting factors, and assess its impact. This is field research using a descriptive analysis method conducted at the Bankziska Ponorogo operational office. The results show that the implementation of the Qardhul Hasan contract is carried out through mentoring, coaching, and supervision, serving as a form of empowerment for micro-business partners. The supporting factors include easy access to required documents for submitting a Qardhul Hasan loan, as well as financial support from the company's CSR funds. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the limited availability of loanable funds and the existence of loan sharks in the surrounding community. The impact of this program has been significant for Bankziska partners. It has increased literacy about avoiding usury and loan sharks, boosted sales turnover, improved profits and income, and facilitated access to education. This shows that the Qardhul Hasan contract at Bankziska Ponorogo contributes positively to the growth and sustainability of micro-businesses, while addressing the challenge of providing halal financing within the local economic context.
