Influence of gender, height, weight, lung capacity, strength and speed on endurance performance
This study investigates the impact of gender, height, weight, BMI, lung capacity, lower limb strength, and speed on the endurance quality of college students, aiming to provide a scientific basis for their physical health. Data were collected from 2,678 students of the 23rd class at the New Technology College of Hubei Engineering University using questionnaires and physical fitness tests. Excel and SPSS software were utilized for data organization and regression analysis. Results indicate significant endurance quality models for both genders, with an R² of 0.114 for males and 0.085 for females. In males, BMI and 50m run significantly positively affected endurance quality, while in females, only the 50m run was significant. Body weight negatively impacted endurance in both genders, and lung capacity had no significant effect. The study concludes with guidance for college students' endurance training and physical health interventions.
